Driving down to Moab was quite an experience, since the highway went up into the mounains and back down again. Driving into the snowline was really cool, and dramatic.

| This is the view from the Glen Canyon bridge. Highway 95 in Utah has to be the most breathtaking road I've ever driven.

| The Birch trees look almost ghostly next to the Pine trees. The drive through the mountains on Highway 12 was quite exciting... Between the wind, the snow and the fact that I was coming down with acute food poisoning at the time.

This dramatic mountain and cloud shot was taken about 30 miles out from Salt Lake City.

| This was the start to the greyest area I have ever been to. Miles of the landscape around the highway to Capitol Reef looked as if somebody sucked the color out. It was truly an alien experience.

| The folds looked almost like the skin of an elephant - rough textures and details. It reminded me of the purple hills in the Petrified National Forest in Arizona.
