This is an Anasazi Indian ruin called Montezuma's Castle, located a couple of hours north of Phoenix. This was the first park that Lisa and I visited on our trip.
I'm fascinated by textures, and I thought this was a particularly good one.
There were some beautiful trees around Montezuma's Castle.
This is a copper mine, located across from the Tuzigoot park. The city of Jerome is hiding out on the mountain side in the distance.

Lisa took this picture of me at Tuzigoot
This is one of my favorite pictures from my trip to Arizona, Lisa took this while I was waiting for her to come out from the ruins.
This is the small mining city of Jerome. Today a number of artists and small restaurants make it home. There was a biker ralley that evening when we were there.
This archway was a part of Jerome's museum
